Capacity building and planning workshops for ICATT in European Region of WHO. 7-14 February 2009

On request of WHO/EURO, two capacity building and planning workshops of 2.5 days each were conducted in Almaty, Kazakhstan and Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. These workshops were supported by WHO/EURO, CAH/HQ and the NFSD. The participants in both workshops came from the Ministries of Health of two countries, teaching institutions for health professionals involved in IMCI training and WHO regional and country staff.

On-site support to ICATT early implementation in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. 11-17 September 2008

During the period from 11 to 17 September Global ICATT team worked with national Tanzanian IMCI-ICATT team, Ministry of Health, WHO country office and the representatives of Ifakara Research and Training centre to finalize Tanzanian adaptation of ICATT-based IMCI training (English version) and prepare the first ICATT-based IMCI training course which is scheduled to take place at the end of October 2008.
